WHY OUR CITY?
Some people think we choose a city by throwing darts on a world map, playing an alphabet game, or looking for a city with the best restaurants!
Thankfully, none of that is true. We choose a city through prayer after an invitation from churches in the community.
It all starts with a phone call, email or letter expressing an individual’s or group’s burden for their city to know Christ. The person or group believes the community is ready to hear the Gospel by proclamation evangelism and expresses a desire to partner with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA).
The contact person is encouraged to share their vision with other community leaders. We desire the core group of people who want to have a Festival in their area be denominationally balanced and ethnically mirror their community.
